Growing Credit Derivative Hedge Fund seeks a very special Java Developer/Chartered Financial Analyst.
We are seeking a talented developer to join the team at one of the most innovative hedge funds to date. This position works closely with a small group of supportive colleagues, and holds tremendous growth potential. As a member of this team you will be working with other leading developers to create high-end analytical tools for the credit derivatives market. The software will be used to manage a $4Billion fund focused on credit risk.
Does this sound like you? • BS Computer Science or equivalent. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • 5+ years experience of hands-on Java coding with strong design and coding experience on the full spectrum of web technologies such as EJBs, Servlet, JSP, JavaScript, DHTML. • Solid understanding of RDBMS design, modeling, and implementation. At least 3+ years experience with SQL. • Strong understanding of application and data integration (Java & XML) • CFA Candidate Level I,II, or III • Experience working in finance, with a focus on fixed income or a credit derivatives market
