Our client is a Top Tier bank with a global presence.They are looking for an experienced Professionals to join them.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Testing front office capabilities of the Murex platform in support of ongoing upgrades to that platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:

Test problems logged in the Murex customer portal related to front office functionality across some fo the derivatives supported by DerivSD (commodities and credit derivatives).

Document successful test results. Bring test failures to the attention of Murex (via the portal), with supporting documentation. Take ownership of the communication with Murex on all issues related to operations functionality for the upgrade. Ensure that the project manager and PMO are advised re: the status of all open test cases. Write UAT (user acceptance test) cases for front office; agree those cases with the stakeholders who will eventually sign off on the tests. Execute the UAT and present results to users for sign-off. SELECTION CRITERIA:

Technical Skills

Detailed knowledge of Murex (version 2.11, in particular). Detailed knowledge of Murex capabilities vis-à-vis front office functionality. Experience in support of the front office environment for derivatives. Experience in front-office pricing, valuation of trades. Experience in understanding portfolio and risk management Experience in front office P&L reporting Business Competencies

Analytical Skills.

Customer Orientation. Problem Solving Skills, with a background in delivering suitable solutions to solve business problems, on-time and within budget. Testing skills – unit, integration, and user-acceptance. Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet project targets and deadlines. Collaboration Skills, with the ability to work both as part of a team, but who is also comfortable pushing to meet objectives for which they have personal accountability and responsibility.
