Essential – 8yrs Java/C++, Unix, Sybase, Large-scale multithreaded application development on Trading/Sales applications. Very strong practical Fixed Income knowledge across more than one product line. Must have Project Management / Team Leadership on Global / Front Office projects within Top Tier Bank.

Preferable – FX, Commodities, Equity Derivatives knowledge, Fluency in Japanese (facing off to Sales) is preferable but not a prerequisite.

As a result this team is growing to such an extent it now needs a Senior Manager in Tokyo. Team size is currently medium with headcount forecast to be increased. You will be taking lead on all new projects and leading the team’s several applications serving the business. Working to offer the Sales Desks more functionality you will need to be able to understand their criteria and deliver robust and effective solutions. You need to have very strong application development experience within the Front Office of an Investment Bank in order to be able to lead this team.
