Overview
The Lead Systems Analyst will be primarily responsible for project management, systems analysis, development and implementation supporting the Equity Product Management group. Daily activities will include project management, requirements gathering, requirements documentation, design sessions, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, systems testing, documentation and end-user training and support. This position requires a high level of direct interaction with end users and provides a broad set of opportunities including application development, project management and client management.
Responsibilities
Work closely with professionals in the Equity Product Management team and related teams to proactively develop new/improved systems
Collect, document and facilitate implementation of systems requirements
Perform data gap analysis and oversee remediation efforts
Plan and manage implementation / integration
Manage and participate in testing and deployment
Manage business governance, issue tracking and status reporting
Directly manage team of developers and analysts, in addition to performing hands on analysis and development work
Collaborate with many systems and business teams for delivery
Qualifications
Strong understanding of the investment process, equity and derivative securities, and market data services. Quantitative skills are a strong plus.
Specific expertise in investment performance measurement and reporting
7 years or more experience in a systems role supporting investment professionals or investment product management teams
10+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years of management
Proven track record in project management and business analysis
Strong expertise in the implementation of MS Excel based data analysis and reporting tools
Demonstrated experience in formal requirements collection methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
A CFA or demonstrated progress toward a CFA would be considered a plus
