This is an opportunity to join the highly successful EMEA Cash Implementation team in Global Transaction Services.
The role is as a Technical Implementation Manager within the Technical Team, vital to integrating customer ERP / core systems to Citi's file-based payment and collection products.

The role will have a responsibility for delivering against the team's objectives in delivering and integrating Citi's Payment and Collection products and services such as, but not limited to, IMPS (International Mass Payments) System, CFX (Citibank File Xchange), CitiDirect (file) & WorldLink file capabilities to corporate customers, banks and financial institutions.

The Technical Implementation Manager will partner with Citi's Sales, Product Management, Customer Service and Operations teams as well as external 3rd party service providers to ensure Customer objectives can be satisfied or exceeded & to manage Customer expectations and priorities.

The role can also demand that the individual works closely with Implementation Project Manager(s) wither regionally or globally.

Primarily the skills that are required are a correct blend of customer management experience, project management skills with a good understanding of cash products. Working knowledge and experience with various connectivity and encryption tools and common ERP file formats is highly preferential.

Job Background/context:


GTS EMEA Cash Implementations is a team of 45 + staff, implementing new cash business across the region.

The technical project team has the primary responsibility of managing the end-to-end delivery of technical connectivity and integration components of cash management solutions sold by the EMEA Cash Sales teams, primarily to Corporate type of clients.


Key Responsibilities:


The Technical Implementation Manager will have responsibilities relating to:

  • Improving externally provided services, SLA definition & management, including metrics management.
  • Improving internally provided services via Process Improvement initiatives.
  • Providing MIS and metrics & issues and risk management as they relate to progress of projects to sponsors / stakeholders.
  • Project managing File-based Payments/Collections (IMP/IDD/CFX) and technical implementations by acting as the owner for both the Client and the Bank.
  • Developing & maintaining technical client implementation project.
  • Manage connectivity and security installations with the Client including Technology testing.
  • Manage the Client file format testing and legal/implementations documentation required to support the deal. This involves liaison with Citi's branches where necessary.
  • Contribute to secondary Sales efforts, selling the technical solution onwards to participating subsidiaries.
  • Obtain feedback from the customer on their implementation experience with a view to sharing amongst internal business partners to improve the customer experience.

    Skills

    Knowledge/Experience:

  • Work experience within the financial services industry.
  • Project Management experience is essential.
  • Technical cash product background.
  • Business Process Reengineering.
  • Risk & controls awareness.
  • Skills:

  • Good knowledge of Citi's & industry cash management / treasury solutions, ERP systems, and various file formats.
  • Experience with file encryption tools.
  • Subject Matter Expertise.
  • Acting as an Owner.
  • Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent. Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria will be considered provided they have the necessary skills and type of experience.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g. PMI or Prince 2) is desirable.
  • Competencies:

  • Good organisational and planning skills to manage initiatives, cross-functional & external partners and own workload.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines on initiatives.
  • Self-starter, professional and be able to provide continuous feedback, reporting and regularly follow up on all outstanding issues.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good client service skills, negotiation, influencing and decision making/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under high-volume workload.
