Artesia is setup in the GE hierarchy as part of GE Capital International Financing Corporation (GECIFC), a NYSB regulated entity and as a result Artesia is required to comply with NYSB licensing requirements.

An exciting position has arisen for an enthusiastic Teamleader / Controller to join the Finance Team. This IFRS Controller reports to the Financial Controller/ Manager Finance and has 4 direct reports.

We are looking for a dedicated people manager who can build a strong Finance Administration Team in order to meet the requirements of GE and the Dutch Bank. The Team leader will assist in the timely and accurate recording & reporting of business performance to US and Dutch authorities.

The candidate must be willing to adopt a “hands on” approach to issues and projects. Overall the team is responsible for IFRS Controlling; including Statutory Focus, all closings; CIT, VAT, STAT returns, Balance sheet Accounting, Daily cash reconciliation and Accounts Payable. Some limited travel will be required for this position as well.

The candidate we are looking for is a graduate with professional accounting qualification, has a proven technical ability in Software packages (Excel, Acces etc.) a sound understanding of IFRS regulations and preferable knowledge of US Gaap. He/she should have good interpersonal and communication skills, a minimum of 5 years experience of working in financial services and be multi-lingual (both Dutch and English speaking).
